After Colin moved to NYC he dug deep into fashion and learned about style from every angle. His experience ranged from fine jewelry to interior design, where he was hands-on with everything from creating textiles to adding his sought-after style to amazing homes and events, to serving as Senior Fashion Editor of Fashion Q&A and teaching a styling course at the Elite Fashion Academy LA.
He wanted to give clients a "total style source", a service that could style their wardrobe but also their home or corporate event. In 2008, Colin parlayed his acute fashion sense with his love for the luxury lifestyle, and founded Planet Style Concierge.
After achieving success with Planet Style Concierge, Colin transitioned into Colin Megaro, LLC. The main focus is luxury and how it relates to how one looks. From celebrity red carpet styling to wardrobe editing of some of America's top executives and socialites, Colin has become a fixture on the fashion scene. In addition to serving as a celebrity wardrobe stylist and fashion consultant, his creative genius has been tapped in a variety of other roles, including serving as the lead stylist on several independent films and as both the stylist and producer for the promotional photo shoots of numerous top studios nationwide.
Colin's work ahs been featured on the cover of The Los Angeles Times Style section during Oscar weekend, and has been featured on Vogue.com and MyStyle.com.

A celebrity stylist who has worked with Gigi Hadid and Alicia Silverstone took a plea deal Thursday for stealing over $60,000 in designer goods, including Hermés and Chanel handbags.
Colin Megaro, 39, pleaded guilty in Manhattan Supreme Court to grand larceny and forgery in two separate cases in exchange for five years' probation.The haul included a $30,000 Hermès blue Izmir handbag, a $9,500 blue Hermes De Prusse leather bag and a $7,800 black Matte Python Chanel bag, according to court papers.
